Kanda Naal has been produced with a unique blend of world music and carnatic music or better known as the New Age Music. It is infact the first such album to be released by a Malaysian Artist. The songs which consist in the album are from contemporary Carnatic composers such as Madurai G.S Mani, S.Chidambaram and Swami Shantanand Saraswathi.. To also note that two of the songs; namely Kanavile Vanthan and Kanthan Idam Enna have been composed by our local singers/composers Smt Vijayalakshmi Kulaveerasingam and by Gayathri Vadivel herself.

The music has been arranged by Jey Raggavendra where as the carnatic and jazz version arranged by Sashikiran and Ganesh Sudarshan of India, who are popular carnatic artsists in India.
